That mindset a load of bull. We can increase the amount of security we have to prevent another 9/11 without infringing upon our civil liberties.

like making the 90 year old granny take her shoe's off at the airport?

All the searches for bombs wouldn't have stopped 9/11 from happening. That was done with blades and fake bombs.

That was actually in response to Hippie's post. If it's easy enough to understand that you could get higher security measures without infringing upon civil liberties, why would they still go that route?
