The next debate in the 2012 election cycle will take place on November 22nd at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. The debate is sponsored by CNN, The Heritage Foundation, and the American Enterprise Institute and will (again) focus on national security and foreign policy matters and will air on CNN at 8pm. (In keeping with the tradition of the 2008 election season...all debates, primaries, and caucuses will have their own threads to ensure that the political forum continues to run smoothly.)

Discuss. :yay:

I am sorry, but I don't see a subservient person as presidential material.

As much as I can't stand Bachmann, that is really a lame complaint there. There's nothing subservient about serving water to everyone. You ever pour someone a drink just to be a nice guy?

Bachmann has openly stated some very anti-feminist views before, so the complaint is valid.

Yeah. But we all know that that isn't what Bachmann is doing. Stop defending her.

I'm not defending her. She's a rather vile and disgusting human being. But complaining about her pouring water. That's just scraping the bottom of the barrel when there is no need to.

Everything about Bachmann is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Pointing out that she lives in 1919 isn't out of place. It's exactly why we don't need her sitting across the table from a bunch of machismo politicians. If she becomes our Commander-in-Chief this is exactly what will happen with our foreign policy.

Let's see Herman Cain or Mitt Romney do it next time around.

Look, Hip, that's about as bad as Obama bowing to the Burger King.

Except I don't have a problem with Obama bowing like he did in Japan. I don't see it as a sign of submission from him but more as a sign of respect.

And that picture is just weird. Very, very weird.

I think I'll stick to slamming Michele Bachmann for her backward view on gay rights and equality, and her overall incompetence on pretty much everything.

Bingo. There's no need to scrape the bottom of the barrel with Michelle Bachmann. She's the gift that just keeps on giving.

Romney --- "Obama is being --- friendly to our foes."

Only Jesus would do that.

So you can come here and learn how to make a nuclear bomb but if you come here to pick a strawberry, we don't want ya.

Please don't tell me that my stance on immigration is closer to Rick Perry's.

Ron Paul isn't afraid to tell the other republicans things that they don't want to hear.

Remove US bases from countries they have no business being in.

Also he's old enough to be a father to some of them. I saw most of this debate, got boring, will YouTube Paul highlight.

Didnt get a chance to watch the debate but I heard our local news station lambasting most of the candidates (indirectly by showing some of their more ridiculous statements) and showed a hilarious statement where Paul ran around Romney.

God I swear, while I disagree with a lot of what Ron Paul says, there is plenty I agree with him. I almost feel like Ron Paul is the Winston Churchill of America, he predicts the future and sees the world as it is. But sometimes telling the truth from his perspective isnt always a good policy for the present or to gather votes.
