To start i want to say that this is kind of a rant, but its valid. Read on..

I have to say that with each day that goes by without hearing any news about this movie i get more and more dissappointed. There shouldnt be any legit reason why they havent put any teaser posters or trailers out there. Espically because how long this movie is been in production. And also how long ago the initial filming was finished.

Which brings me to this. Because this movie basically is finished (or at least for the most part), i really dont see why this movie has been pushed back another 3 months. If the date was the issue...why not move it up or down a couple weeks? Or if the issue is because LGF are intimidated by "bigger" movies being released the same weekend...why not just market and advertise the hell out of this movie? (obviously if the budget restricts this then its not an option)

But i have yet to see anything that promotes this movie besides the website. Seriously what is the big deal putting out a teaser trailer that says at the end "coming december"? Weve all seen teaser trailers about movies coming out in a year (at the least) from when we see it...so whats the hold up? We need something to keep us interested in this movie...we have yet to see a video clip, or even a sound clip of Ray as the Punisher. It feels like LGF filmed the movie and just set it aside to collect dust.

From my perspective, i think its safe to say that the folks over at Lions Gate Films, are making some poor dicisions when it comes to this movie.

I think as fans we need some answers.

yea i feel the exact same way...I almost forgot they were even putting out another movie thats how tired i got of waiting for updates.

Well, I think Bradstreet is doing the teaser poster, so I'm giving that some leeway.

yea but LGF is still doing the film. I hope Cask's suspicions lead to the Punisher's rights going back to Marvel.

That would be a couple of years. But this is Lionsgate as long as the movie makes back it's budget + some, there will be a sequel. We are coming up on 5 Saw movies, soon to be 6.

wow, honestly, im suprised after i posted this, they bring out an "official" teaser poster. And after seeing it, im still not impressed with LGF. They could have done so much more for a teaser.

I really expect more than this..

Whoa - im impatient too but this time next year we will all have a copy on dvd or whatever and there has gotta be a trailer soon - its just quiet at the moment... anticipation is the sweetest sensation!!!
