Denzel and Antoine Fuqua to ride with The Magnificent Seven

i like The Trailers and I m Sure Its an Funny Entertaint Movie who i will Love , But i Don't Think it will be a Boxoffice Hit idk why

Its Fuqua and Denzel and Pratt and a western. As long as it gets good WOM it should do fine at the box office.

I'd appreciate some Denzel avie gifs from the trailer! Yall dont know how long I have waited for him to be in a western.

It'll make money. It's got star power and a good release date.

Well, when you say star power, maybe 4 out of the 7. It doesn't quite have the star power of the original which had 5 out of the 7 being legitimate stars: Yul Bryner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn.

At the time, only Yul Bryner and Robert Vaughn had any kind of clout. Steve McQueen was on the rise but his only real hit before this was The Blob. Charles Bronson and James Coburn were mostly unknown.

Searched tumblr looking for gifs and I only found Chris Pratt.

Not sure why you think this matters.

I think this looks really fun, in a theater experience sort of way. This doesn't look like a "wait for Redbox" kinda movie.

Because people like to say all those guys were all big-time headliners at the same time when that's not the truth and likely not how the movie was marketed back then.

I don't care that only a few of them are big names. I just think it's great they got such a diverse cast in this film. I'm sick of movies looking like this:

Webs and DK are right though, Bronson and Coburn were not big names during the original M7; one could argue that M7 helped launch their careers. McQueen hadn't done much at that point either, but apparently was already pegged as "the next big thing" so had a fair bit of clout on set; he had a reputation for being a cocky bugger, and apparently Brynner didn't like him because of it.

I'm going to watch the hell out of this movie, and I like the diverse cast: the "Old West" was actually way more multicultural than the early Western films would have us believe. Yul Brynner and his accent, and John Cleese's Sheriff Langston would not have been out of place, according to historical records.

Just saw the latest trailer. I think I'm going to enjoy this quite a bit.

Cool, this is going to open the Toronto International Film Festival.

Looks great, but it needs the theme or a variation of it. It's just too iconic.

Is that from the July 4th Ball of the Overlook Hotel?

Working in IT I have been to events like that where I'm the only black person. Aside from the wait staff.

Not sure where and when it was taken, I just know it's Paul Ryan's all-white intern group. I just posted it because when I saw it, it made me think of how many movies I've seen (even recently) that have a nearly 100% white cast.

Off the top of my head....here are the "Seven" movies or TV shows I own on DVD -

The Seven Samurai
The Magnificent Seven
Return of the Seven
Guns of the Magnificent Seven
The Magnificent Seven Ride
Battle Beyond the Stars
The Magnificent Seven (TV series)

I just saw the trailer for this in the theatre for the second time. It looks awesome. definitely the next movie I'm seeing. Really looking forward to it.
