A toy line based around a particular artists style. Each wave would be in the style of a different Marvel artist.

Mark Bagley (Ultimate Spider-Man)
BAF = Venom

BAF part = Right Arm
-Peter Parker.
BAF part = Left Arm
-Doc Ock.
BAF part = Upper-torso

-Hobgoblin (Green goblin re-paint with a new head scuplt).

No I actually left them out on purpose. I'd have to make a new wave to put them in. And I doubt they'd make a wave of mostly villians. But it would be cool if they did. To be honest, the only ones I'd really want are the thundercats and the mutants and of course mumm-ra.

Supposively there is a Thundercats movie set for 2010. Of course, they had a 1998 rumored movie as well which was all BS. But the Thundercats movie is on IMDB.com and you have to be a paying member to see it. They are usually pretty accurate so I wonder if it could be true.

If they do make a movie, they might be making figures as well. But I would only want figs representing the old toon and the comics. I wouldn't want movie versions. So I hope they don't make a big mistake by not making classic figures if they really do this movie. That or I hope the movie representations of the characters are on par with the original toons etc.

NEW CHALLENGE

Ok folks, the company has enjoyed your first ideas and is going to start producing some of them. Here's the new challenge:

Boxsets, two packs, secret identies, and themed waves!


First two Waves: Teams! Both waves must have 6-8 characters each, and each wave is an entire team. Series 1 can be all Astonishing X-Men, Series 2 can be all Avengers.

-No BAFs
-There is a build-a-set. So if you make a team of X-Men, it must be something like the danger room.
-The team must be from the same era. No Jim Lee era Wolverine with Astonishing beast.

Boxset! This is where you put out the rivals to your teams, in one entire boxset. So if wave 1 is the X-Men, you can have the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants in this boxset.

Third Wave, the Team Ups!
6 Two Packs of characters who have teamed up. For instance, Iron Fist and Power Man. Batman and Robin. Ben and Jerry.

-No BAF, the two packs are going to be accessory heavy and/or heavy in interchangeable parts.
-Accessories can be bases, weapons, different body parts, etc etc.

Special Store Exclusive Two packs:
3 Two packs of a character and their secret identity exclusive to one particular store. Examples are like Spider-Man and Peter Parker, wolverine and civilian logan, Roughneck and the star wars kid.

Yes I know the fearsome four boxset has five characters, but I believe Blastaar took Medusa's place after she regained her memories, so that's why. Plus we really need a Blastaar, especially since we have Annihilus.


And I wouldn't really be into team up two packs. I'd be all for more face-off two packs though so I'll use those instead.

Now that Hasbro has the rights to the Marvel Legends line, I think they should use the basic designs of the character (Highly poseable, detailed, and 6 inches tall) for a new Star Wars Legends line. There will be six waves, one for each movie. The waves afterward will have EU characters, and other versions of the main characters.

The first wave should be:

Princess Leia (with ending costume variant)

R2-D2 and C-3PO (in a 2 pack that's priced the same as the others)

Well with a Nova in the works (I'm hoping for both Classic and Annihilation versions) maybe a Annihilation or Galaxy-themed Marvel Legends set isn't too far off. A bit of a shyt that Toy Biz handed the torch to Hasbro though. To my untrained eye I think the Toy Biz stuff was better and slightly a little bigger.
