[FONT=&quot]With Destiny 2's official reveal fresh in the rearview mirror, Bungie has gradually released the trailers it showed off during the event over on its YouTube channel. Today, the developers released "The Worlds of Destiny 2" which gives us a look at the different places that the game will be taking us.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The headliner of the new locations is the European Dead Zone, which Bungie says is the "largest destination" they've built to date. While not all of Destiny 2's new locations will be as big as the EDZ, Bungie is clearly looking to up the ante in terms of scale. Other locations include Saturn's Moon Titan, whose main feature is a large methane ocean, a planetoid called Nessus, and Io, a moon of Jupiter and the last place that The Traveller touched before the collapse.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]This is just a taste of what we can expect from Destiny 2 when it launches later this year on September 8th, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.[/FONT]

Now that summer is here and online gaming is heating up, doesn’t it seem as though all of these studios are doing everything in their power to keep your attention focused on their products and not the other shiny distractions coming out all over the place?


Bungie wants your full attention for Destiny 2, so look at the sequel square in the eye and deny that you have interest in anything else. To keep your thoughts from straying from the fold, the studio has released three featurettes that show how different aspects of the gameplay works for this upcoming title.


There’s also a fascinating story involving one Destiny fan who, as a teenager, decided that he would piece together Marty O’Donnell’s abandoned Music of the Spheres soundtrack, which was a prequel of sorts to the Destiny score. After 430 days of work, the teen hunted down and cobbled together over 80% of the album, which you can listen to after the break.

Open beta begins on July 21.

Activision and Bungie have released a new trailer for Destiny 2 ahead of its open beta later this month.


Users who pre-order Destiny 2 will be able to access the beta early on July 18 on PlayStation 4 and July 19 on Xbox One. Everyone else will gain access on July 21.
Destiny 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, and for PC on October 24.
