With the success of films that mix CGI and real life actors, I have been thinking more and more about the underrated DC character Bobo The Detective Chimp. It came to me: why not make a smart, intelligent, family film featuring the marvelous monkey?

Kelsey Grammer of course would have to play Bobo.

The key would be to have a script that was kid friendly - yet still smart. Kinda like the TV show Dinosaurs, or the best of ALF.

Greatest idea. It's too bad Vincent Price is dead, because he should have voiced Detective Chimp.

I like Eddie Izzard more for Chimp. i always hear his voice when I read Shadowpact

LOL:yay:... Detective Chimp? Horrib- no, wait... actually that sounds pretty good. It would of course (as said above) have to be aimed for kids and KNOW IT, rather than aimed for but still trying to be serious (i.e. Batman and Robin).

They should bring up Detective Chimp's membership in the Republican Party :)

As long as it veered towards children and doesn't take it self serious....go for it....:yay:

I don't think it would be that bad...Anything to get DC away from focusing completely on Batman and Superman:yay:

It's only great...
