Revenge of the Fallen Devastator look is really really GOOD!!

Devastator looks like a Cybertronian version of a Cave Troll....and that's not such a bad thing IMO.

Sideswipe looks to be the best design I've seen for a movie TF.

hmm, maybe sam will hit him in the head head w/ a frying pan.:oldrazz:

(if you didn't get the reference, there's prolly something wrong w/ u.)

I have just read the updated Hasbro press release of the ROTF toys that features a Devastator Track Set that "provides fast, mini-vehicle play within a dynamic track set by leveraging the iconic battle and high stakes drama found in the new movie. The track will bring DEVASTATOR to life and enable fans to re-enact the climactic movie battle between the AUTOBOTS and DEVASTATOR!"

and looking at this..

...could it be that the battle will occur in Egypt???

I knew this battle occured in Egypt but I didn't know it would be the last battle. From the sounds of this description Devastator could well be the Fallen's creation in a last ditch effort to destroy the Autobots. Odds are the Devastator will only appear once in the movie, and if it is in the desert then it would have to be the Fallen's work....unless coincidence prevails and ALL the other vehicles are just there for the combining.

oooh damn... now THAT idea i like. The Fallen creates this beast out of the left over Demolishor so that he might SLAY THE AUTOBOTS!!! or something. or maybe they're fighting the individual bots and The Fallen just brings them together. still nice nice

a potential idea..but if the Autobots destroys Scavenger in China, how will he be a part of Fallen's 'Devastator-Creation' in Egypt..Oh, maybe he will resurrect Scavenger and teleport his remains to Egypt..sorry for this crazy idea.:woot:

autobot destroy scavenger ??? where you see that?

i think is real, we see devastator in egypt,
found = construction vehicule, megatron found egypt,
autobots comes with scavengers, megatron create devastator, autobot combin to superion
megatron found fallen ,fallen fight human and autobots

i think is probably final scne movie because devastator is very expensive to see in the movie
egypt was great for that no building sand great extent, esay to incrust robots

so the cement mixer is the head, that thing from the trailer is the torso, the fanmade dump truck guy is the right leg, and that crane thing is the left arm.

and than 1 bulldozer for the left leg, and that other bulldozer looking thing for the right arm.

so my question is where's the last constructicon go? the back or something? or is he just missing?

edit- on the toy i can only see where six guys fit in, and the odd man out appears to be scavenger.(or whatever his name is.)

Yeah, the back is the likely bet at this point. If you look at the artist rendering with the pale blue vehicle sketches on the 'page' behind it you'll see just over the right shoulder the word "Back" there (while the name of the corresponding vehicle is obscured).

oh. ok good. just so long as he doesn't get left out.:word:

In the artwork for Devastator, there's seven vehicles. However the toy has only six. It would seem 1 vehicle ended up deleted.

I can't help but notice the crane sticking out of his left arm. Might make a good swinging weapon

ehhh... toys can have a skewed view of the movie version.. i'll wait to judge, but i wish it were more G1 version...

Im confused by the pic on the box and the pic of the giant toy version of devastator, it shows him with the huge circular grinder thingy on his chest but is nowhere to be seen in the other pics i seen unless a part of his upper body transforms in to that.

That "circular grinder thingy" is Devastator's head, which is a concrete mixer (Mixmaster). It's not its torso.

Aside from the fact that his legs look kinda small (might be because of the angle of the pose), I think this Devastator looks pretty impressive. I'm very glad that the Constructicon in the teaser trailer wasn't the Devastator.

I wonder just how big he will be in scale to the rest of the bots....Demolishor's FACE was bigger than prime, so devastator should be about.....HUGE.

Since the toy version of Devs has 6 vehicles, the movie version will also have 6.
They must have change their minds about having 7
