Wow... look at those prices. The prices alone has dropped several comics into the Maybes list. New Avengers Annual and Dark Avengers Annual were definates until I saw the $5 price tags. More than likely, I'll just download these to get the story and then buy them at a later date on ebay for less.

As for the other Maybes...

Psylocke issue 1 was actually pretty good for a solo X-Book, but it wasn't amazing, and I don't know if I want to spend $4 on the rest. Chances are I'll get this eventually, but the same way as mentioned above. On ebay for cheaper (as I don't see these selling well in a group on Ebay these days). Marvels Project has been alright, but again, I don't know that it's worth spending $4 on every issue of a series I'm just mediocre on. I'm already an issue behind and chances are, knowing me, if this one falls behind as well I'll never get caught back up and will eventually sell the 2 issues I do have to Half Priced Books. As for Blackest Night: The Flash, I've decided not to buy any more of the tie-ins outside of the Green Lantern titles, but due to the Flash being such a big part of the core mini, I'll skim it and see if his stuff is important to the main story. If so, and if I can afford it, I'll give it a shot. See that Marvel? If this were $4, I'd just pass... but at only $3 it has a shot at being skimmed and bought. I wonder how many sales similar to this does Marvel lose a month? I mean, just this week, for me, Marvel's likely losing 2 issue to DC gaining 1. All for a dollar, they're losing a possible $6 and giving $3 to their competitor. If a lot of people do that, it'll add up I guess.

As for the keeps...

I don't know what to think of FALL OF HULKS ALPHA yet. I'm likely to buy it due to me liking Skaar and everything in Incredlbe since he showed up there, but I'm not liking the price along with the price of Incredible and Rulk's book. That's the only real draw back for me. If the story isn't that good here, it may equal the end of my Hulk experience.

I'm excited for SIEGE CABAL for two reasons. First is because the story sounds fun, but also because I've been looking for a dropping point for the Avengers line for a while and have been calling this storyline it for a long while. My comic buying is out of hand and I'm getting further and further behind on stuff every week, so this is that light at the end of the tunnel I've been looking for. When this event is finished, more than likely, my buying habits will change sevierelly.

And everything else are just good and I'm looking forward to them. Especially Nova. The preview looked real good, so I'm excited.

I am curious if Image is overdoing HAUNT a bit; a 3rd reprint of issue one, seriously? We also won't get into the 7-8 covers/editions of IMAGE UNITED. Someone needs to tell them that 2009 doesn't sound like 1993.

I also am curious if it was impossible to have sold JMS' final issue of THOR as a normal issue and not a one-shot, and merely shipped two issues of THOR across two weeks. I mean, NOVA is able to ship 2 issues within a fortnight of each other. Feels like a while since MARVELS PROJECT shipped.

I have been avoiding Bendis books for, oh, about a year now, but I figure without SIEGE it would be a 5 book week so I may as well give it a shot, considering I write for Examiner now. I could be wrong and it may only be bad instead of atrocious.

STRANGE #2 will be a 50/50 toss depending on how I feel that day. The debut issue wasn't bad but it was nothing great either.
