Virgin's creators are largely Indians and their comics largely cover Indian subject matter.

Are Indians and Virgin Comics related?

Step-brothers twice removed.

They do? All I know of are Guy Ritchie's thing, Nic Cage's thing, Ed Burns' thing and Dan Dare. All non-Indian creators and correct me if I'm wrong, but also non-Indian subject matter, right?

Yes. And that's almost all the non-Indian stuff they have. The rest of their line consists of things like Shekhar Kepur's Devi and Snake Woman, Deepak Chopra Presents India Authentic, Ramayan 3392 AD by Shamik Dasgupta and Jeevan Kang, Eat the Dead by Siddharth Kottian, etc.

By the way, didn't you buy The Dock Walloper a couple of weeks ago?

Ennis and Burns are totally Indian.

Ennis only pretends to be Irish because he thinks chicks dig it.

No. Aside from the fact that it sounded ******ed, I read an interview with Ed Burns and he has completely no respect for comics.

I thought it sounded gritty and pulpy, but in a slightly satirical way. I thought you liked that sort of thing. Guess not.

I like gritty and pulpy as much as the next guy, but I thought it sounded more like The Goon with softer edges.
