Diamond List for January 16, 2008

Yup. Watch it again.

I'll take your word for it. I thought it was something else entirely, though.

I thought the same until someone pointed it out to me.

wikipedia said:
Locke is at work when he receives a phone call asking for "Colonel Locke". Locke recognizes the person's voice and agrees to meet with them at 13:00 hours in the "usual rendezvous point". His manager, Randy, walks by soon after, nitpicking about Locke's work efficiency. Before he leaves, he comments that he heard Locke's phone call, saying "Colonel" smugly.

Apparently, the "usual rendezvous point" is actually the staff lunch area, where Locke and his co-worker play an army strategy board game

AMERICAN VIRGIN #22
FELL #9

Well, this would be the first time in like six years i haven't bought Amazing Spidey. :csad:

:csad:

From what i read, i might do the same. But I havent finished OMD yet so I'll officially decide after that.

I got the season 3 also, it really sucked right up until the Hurely episode. Things go up another notch in the last 5 episodes and setup an awesome season 4

Pfffft. The Desmond flashback was one of my favorites and Juliet and Eko's were pretty awesome too.

People ***** way too much that not every character is in every episode. I like the fact that they dont feel the need to shoehorn the entire cast in an episode when theyre not needed.

I hope so. Locke is another hardcore badass. I want to get more flashbacks into his past. In one of the very first episodes, he's interupted my a coworker while he's on the phone giving orders in some sort of weird military speak. I want to know who he was talking to.

The next episode youll watch is his flashback. He has another one later, easily the two best flashbacks in the season (next to Ben's at least):o

Dude what are you smoking, the Desmond episode was the worst of the whole season, time travel is too hocky even for Lost.

Me too. I'd like to see more of Sayid's part, though.
Yeah, Sayid has the most backstory still unanswered, like how he got out of Iraq, and how he got by the CIA or whatever agents they were in that terrorist episode) And his flashbacks are always awesome (that Gulf war one was my fave in season 2). Overall, this show needs more Sayid.

I liked it. The time travel thing is not something I'm entirely convinced of, though. All that's apparent is that he sees visions of the future.

I just hope he's not next for the chop :csad:

First of all, hocky isn't even a word. It's hokey, or hockey, i dont know which one you were going for. And second of all, that episode was a total mindtrip, and the fact that they stayed in the flashback was pretty awesome.

He better not be. Politically, I doubt they can kill him off, unless he wanted to leave the show. He's one of the few minorities they've got left.

If it had just been dream it wouldn't have been so bad, but the fact that the producers confirmed Desmond really did travel back in time made it that much more lame.

Every show needs more Sayid. :o
Hell yes. He's probably my favorite character, followed by Ben and Locke. But he's a minority so its a good chance he'll die:csad:

It would be way stupider if it was a dream. Thats like the most cliched plot device ever. Pffft to dreams.:down

I miss Echo :csad:

Oh and a heads up on Heroes, that much like Lost takes about 9 episodes into the season to really start to be awesome.

Oh, and i recently got the first two seasons of the Wire. I normally dont get the HBO shows outside of Curb considering theyll like a 100 bucks to buy, but I got it on sale (thank you Jesus). But Im deciding to watch that or continue the Shield. The shows seems similar so id rather not watch them at the same time:o

I didn't know that. Eh...it's still cool, in a weird sort of way. It's pretty silly to not be able to accept that, but to be able to accept a cloud of black smoke that beats people to death. :o

There's a Ben flashback somewhere in Season 3, right? I haven't gotten that far yet.

Episode 19 "The Man Behind The Curtain"

Hell yes. It's my fave flashback of the season. Michael Emerson is such a great actor, he's like totally normal in interviews and yet the creepiest and evilest guy ever on the show. He totally made season 3 for me.
