WONDER WOMAN #16 $2.99

IMAGE COMICS
MICE TEMPLAR #3 $2.99

MARVEL COMICS
ASTONISHING X-MEN #24 $2.99 (Wow, what is there, one more issue after this? Awesome, only another year for that, I bet.)
IRON MAN #25 $3.99
ORDER #7 $2.99
SHE-HULK 2 #25 $3.99
WORLD WAR HULK AFTERSMASH DAMAGE CONTROL #1 (OF 3) $2.99 (WOOOOOOOOOOOO! :D)
X-MEN #207 MC $2.99
X-MEN FIRST CLASS VOL 2 #8 (OF 8) $2.99 (Aw, it's just a mini? I thought this was an ongoing now. :()
YOUNG AVENGERS PRESENTS #1 (OF 6) $2.99

COMICS
CLOCKWORK GIRL #2 (OF 4) $1.99
HIGHLANDER WAY O/T SWORD #2 $3.50 (I was considering dropping the Highlander comics, even though I like the franchise, because they've been a bit mediocre. But then I watched Highlander: The Source and realized how much worse it could be. I'll probably stick with the comics at least until the end of this mini.)
OMEGA ONE #1 (MR) $3.25 (Eh... maybe.)
I thought Simone was knocking it out of the park...
She's been writing Wonder Woman herself better than either of the previous writers, but the story is still kind of boring. I did like the idea of Wonder Woman getting some houseguests from Gorilla City, although it felt a little like manufactured zaniness. It hasn't really picked up steam yet, but I'm willing to give Simone some more time.

X-MEN FIRST CLASS VOL 2 #8 (OF 8) $2.99 (Aw, it's just a mini? I thought this was an ongoing now. :()

It was originally slated to be an ongoing. Maybe Marvel feels like switching it up and saying it's the end of a miniseries is better than outright cancelling it.

She's typically pretty great. If there's anyone that can make a good Wonder Woman book, it's her.

Ugh, I'm so sick of Marvel's random switching between ongoings and minis. :whatever:

Anyway, I feel the same way about Simone, which is why I'm sticking with the comic for another few issues on her name alone.

Brevoort: "We have to cancel this book."
Quesada: "Cancel?"
Breevort: "..."
Quesada: "Tom, what do we do with books here at Marvel?"
Breevort: "Right, I meant that this miniseries is ending."

It's so incomprehensible to me. What does claiming it's a mini after 7 ostensibly ongoing issues accomplish?

ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #50 (the best Ultimate book right now, and ironically, the poorest selling.)

Definitely, the best Ultimate title. Sadly, it's been announced one of the Ultimate titles will be coming to an end in 2008. I can't see Marvel canceling Spidey or X-Men; so, that leaves the F4.

Well, maybe if we keep it up, they'll cancel the other Ultimate titles too.

Or maybe Ultimates. It's basically a series of miniseries at this point anyway.

Usagi Yojimbo #109 $2.99
Countdown To Final Crisis 14 $2.99
Crime Bible The Five Lessons Of Blood #4 (of 5) $2.99
Amazing Spider-man #548 Bnd $2.99
Astonishing X-men #24 $2.99
Iron Man #25 $3.99
She-hulk 2 #25 $3.99
Ultimate Iron Man Ii #2 (of 4) $2.99
Young Avengers Presents #1 (of 6) $2.99

i think Ultimate FF will go. isn't someone big coming in to reboot the X-Men line?
Ultimates is a big seller, so no.
and yeah, Spider-Man is Spider-Man.

Marvel does that too often. Still, it does sell poorly, so I can understand the rationale.

Uh-huh. I've been weening myself off Ultimate, so if UFF goes, that may likely be it for the line for me. There's another event coming, but at this point I barely care.
