Good but fairly large week. Regarding my maybes, I'm expecting Siege: Storming to be just a handbook, and if it is then I'll pass. And I'll eventually get Reborn but probably not until a lighter week. I already know the ending so why rush to get it?

The "Maybe" is being generous. I was a sucker for Bendis NEW AVENGERS comics for years. I stayed on USM way longer than I should have. Me honestly wanting to make myself believe I won't be a total sucker for Brubaker and buy that $4 waste of time that is REBORN #6 at this point is delusion. But it's a few weeks away, I have time for delusions.

And don't get me wrong; anyone who buys REBORN #6 at any time after how badly Marvel has botched the story IS a sucker, of the highest order. That issue has nothing, literally not one panel or quote, that is not known, or if unknown, matters to anyone not in Brubaker's immediate family. I just know because I can smell my own, and If/When I buy REBORN #6, I will be nothing but a sucker. Even if Marvel hadn't botched things, it was hardly Brubaker's best story. Now? It'd be as useful as bird cage lining, only bird cage lining actually has a functional use.

The rest, though...looks very solid. ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN has started running way behind as soon as Kirkman announced it would end with issue #25; guess since HAUNT started he and Jason Howard couldn't keep that book timely after all. It should have ended by April if it was on time, but I wouldn't be stunned if issue #25 made it in Halloween 2010 at this rate.

Even with YOU'RE A SUCKER REBORN #6 coming out, it isn't a super huge week.

That's a rather cynical interpretation. It's hardly unusual to want to read the story for the emotional beats and, well, the actual story, even if you already know how it ends.

Cap wasn't wearing the armor during "Operation Rebirth". It was the "Fighting Chance" story Gruenwald did prior to Waid's Rebirth story.
