Despite my utter disgust with OMD, it seems to be more of a punishment to myself to not get Slott's BND, which even the people claiming to boycott it in anger admit will likely be good. I mean, I've stayed on NEW AVENGERS this long, despite being retched garbage, in the name of staying current. My shop will order just as many copies of BND as they always were going too. The cycle seems to be: internet hates something, mainstream fans, who make up 95% of readers who do not hit the web, buy regardless. Just a shame that Slott didn't need a retcon to handle Spidey, and he starts with a lot of ill will being carried over.

THE TWELVE, though, hopefully will be great. More Golden Agers, the better!

No, they mean #1 of The Twelve. The issue that's come out already was #0, which was just reprints. Unless I missed something last week.

Not yet. I bought a bunch of trades for the break, and then I got an iPod and spent all my time playing with that. I'll get to Scalped after I'm done with this set of trades. I'm on Rex Libris right now, which is really, really verbose.

I've heard that's good too. I honestly want to read about 60 or 70% of the trades I've ever even heard of. It just takes time and money, neither of which I have in spades lately.
