Usually when people think "inspired" casting, it's someone who looks against type.
In this case, it's a guy who looks exactly like the character in the comics, but an actor that fans don't believe could pull it off.
I've seen more than enough from him to know that he would absolutely nail the character.
He's never not had great chemistry with an actor in his films (since becoming an adult actor). And I feel like he'd play great off of a grizzled, older Ben Affleck/Bruce Wayne.
He has the charm and sense of humor to make Dick Grayson cocky but likable.
He has the physique ... more than any other actor of his generation. Period.
He's the perfect age to play the character long term.
He's a fan the comic book world and has voiced on several occasions that he'd love to play a superhero.
Just give him the mask and escrima sticks already.

I've still yet to see any reason stated against his casting that is reasonable. Most people who are against him still see him as a Disney teen star. To that extent I see his career following the path of Kurt Russell.
