He's going to be in Iron Fist and i've seen videos of him doing martial arts. He's acrobatic enough to play Dick. Plus, his looks aren't bad either.

It would be nice if the actor they get could do some of the moves and fighting, but I don't think that should be a deciding factor if there's someone with better acting talent than him. I've never seen him in anything, so I'll look out for him in Iron Fist.

I don't like Efron for this but I don't think you can get closer in resemblance than that.

You can easily get a closer resemblance than that. Good-looking, fit, dark-haired white boy isn't a unique look.

And Efron doesn't even have the dark hair!

IMHO you need to cast a young actor for this role in the early to mid 20s range.

This should really be an origins story for Nightwing, otherwise general audiences who aren't familiar with the character may have trouble connecting to him. Ideally, this should be a 'Nightwing Begins' film.

An actor who can play both Year One Nightwing, and Robin in flashbacks would be ideal. You really want an actor who can play this role now and would someday still be young enough to star along the Titans in their own film.

I just remember something. A few weeks back John Cleese tweeted a pic teasing his involvement in the DCEU.

One of the comics prominently featured in that pic was The Black Mirror. Last Thursday we find out Dick Grayson is joining the DCEU. Theres's also the pic of Hammer and Manginello. Now these things could be connected and have some HUGE implications, especially about JL and The Batman. Or it could just be coincidence. You do the maths and figure that out for yourselves.

Call me crazy, but I actually think a Deadshot solo could be so dope. It's one of the projects I'm really hoping works out.

I thought I was the only one t: I envision it something like John wick but with bucket-fulls of will smith charisma, some more dc characters that haven't been introduced yet and a lot of impossible 200-yard-away headshots. I wonder if they'll redesign the Deadshot suit.

I agree there is a lot of potential there, what I envision is Deadshot (and possibly Flagg as well) is sent on a solo mission by Amanda Waller tasked with infiltrating and assassinating the dictator of Bialya Rumaan Harjavti. The mission seems to be going well and everything is falling into place and just as Deadshot is about to execute the kill shot when he is suddenly attacked by Bane causing him to just hit Rumaan in the arm, Floyd is forced to flee as Bane is kicking his a** and it is revealed that Bane and the Secret Six composed of: Bane, Catman, Ragdoll, Scandal Savage, Cheshire, and Knockout; are being employed by Rumaan as part of his security force. Over the course of the mission Knockout is killed, Vandal appears to be mortally wounded but her healing is revealed at the end to have allowed her to survive, and Cheshire betrays the team when she cuts and runs. Deadshot eventually manages to get his target later that night and it is revealed that Queen Bee Rumaan’s wife had been conspiring with Waller to eliminate her husband, allowing her to take the thrown in exchange for establishing a alliances with the US government.

My main problem with Hedlund is that every character I've seen him play always has this complex where he uses humor to mask pain, and I don't see that as Grayson because he got closure and is genuinely like that and isn't putting on a mask.

It needn't be an origin film, although I would want flashbacks. The way I see it, it could go two ways, he's been Nightwing for a long time and we are just popping into his story and we’d get flashbacks to when he was younger, or he’s been retired as Nightwing for a while as a result of Batman’s fall after recognizing the anger in himself that could drive him down Batman’s path, so he’s been operating as a cop for the years inbetween but a recent case necessitated the need to readopt the persona once more, I’d prefer the first option but the second would be fine, either way flashbacks would be present to illuminate his past with Batman and his falling out with him after Bruce began escalating after Jason’s death.

Also a 45+ year old Bruce necessitates an older Dick so he’d have to be around 30.

I could easily see Ezra as Dick as he has the androgynous sex appeal that Grayson has, he could also really nail his upbeat quippy personality.
