O' Connell would bring a 'spikier' attitude to Grayson, a bit of F-U to it all, good choice but Lerman is my pick.
The thing is, how much we want Lerman to be one of the Robins, his age is wrong or he hasn't got the right personality (refering to Todd, which would have been perfect for Ezra Miller). He looks old enough for Tim, but not Dick or Jason.

I think Tim Drake should be even younger than Lerman.
He would have be a good Dick Grayson Robin if Bats was younger.Lerman is a good actor, but I don't think he's quite right for any of the Robins. I wouldn't complain if he were cast, but he's not an ideal choice (IMO).
No thank you.

Nothing. I thought you meant that you wanted someone younger looking than Lerman. The example you gave, Butterfield, looks way too young for Tim (IMO).What's wrong with a teenage Tim?
Lerman has already played lighter characters. But that doesn't matter because DCU is dark, unlike MCU.Maybe. I'd have to see him attempt to portray a lighthearted, smooth, charismatic character before deciding one way or another.

Doesn't mean that everyone in it will be somber, serious, and/or uptight. But that doesn't matter because DCU is dark, unlike MCU.
He can be a teenager, but he doesn't need to have a baby-face. Visually speaking, Lerman would make a fine Tim.Well, Tim has to be the youngest of the Robins and that could very well mean he's a teenager. Butterfield is 18 so he will work fine.
