What are the chances of seeing Red hood and damian?

Told ya today

Eh... maybe this is how they'll get Jason in. Battle of the prodigal sons, if you will.

I’m still not convinced Armie’s playing Grayson. He’s even bigger than Ben, I’ve just never imagined Dick to be so imposing.

I suppose I wouldn’t mind him. He’s the right age, and if they ever do DickBats he’s in prime shape and condition to pull it off.

We’ll see.

Well said the same thing about Ben being taller than Henry. I don't think they are worried about height. Tom Hardy is 5'9" but totally looked six foot in The Dark Knight Rises.

that is so weird

we were just talking about this before

*hail snydra*

But seriously doe, the actor they cast for Nightwing, needs to have TREMENDOUS butt. Thats the ONLY thing that matters.

Both the script and direction were lackluster. The silver lining in this is McKay seems like the hands-on type, so maybe it’s enough to offset whatever is lacking on the page. Much like Abrams’ role on STAR TREK ’09.

Still, you can always aspire for better talent. THE ACCOUNTANT didn’t even well critically or financially so not sure why they’re hedging their bets on the guy. But I guess studios really like sticking with family.
The directing was definitely lackluster in comparison to Warrior which was really good. But I still felt like Gavin elevated that script otherwise it would have been awful. Ben was actually solid at times but he still came off dull for a lead role. The casting didn't make sense either. And the concept seemed cool (trailers pumped me up) but that script was just meh.

My guess prior to all this was that the Bat solo would feature a mob style villain (Black Mask, Penguin, Two-Face, etc.) hiring Deathstroke to eliminate a new vigilante, Red Hood, that has been killing off his goons and busting up his business. So Batman steps in to try to put a stop to this massive turf war engulfing Gotham, enlisting the help of his estranged sidekick Nightwing to help.

So Deathstroke would be the central bad guy, but with someone else pulling the strings. And that'd set up his relationship with Nightwing, provided it doesn't already exist. And it'd leave room for Batman to focus more on the Red Hood mystery, so we'd get that detective work as well.

If Armie Hammer was Dick I feel like that would have came with the announcement.

Also

Milo Ventimiglia for Dick!!!!!

If you asked me this 10 years ago, I'd never say it but ... Zac Efron or bust.

Perfect age - 29.
Perfect physique.
Box office draw.
Solid actor.
A fan.
Would promote the hell out of the movie.
Has changed his audience with comedies like Neighbors, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Baywatch, etc. Can actually act, too -- watch Liberal Arts.
Has the perfect attitude to be Dick Grayson.

I think Dick Grayson is already casted and Armie Hammer will portray him. If Affleck leaves, then Dick Grayson/Armie Hammer will take over as Batman, that's probably why they want to make Nightwing movie.

Milo Ventimiglia would have been great 10 years ago. The guy is 39 years old.

That's WAY too old for Dick Grayson when Bruce wayne is 45-47 years old. Dick needs to be 15-20 years younger than Bruce.

I don't like Armie for Dick. He doesn't have the right body type.

Hammer is wrong for the part imo.

The guy is taller than Ben, deeper voice, shouldn't lead an action movie franchise.

Efron is a cool choice but until he proves himself as a serious dramatic actor, you're going to hear a packed crowd laughing out loud as soon as he's shown on the big screen. I think he has what it takes. But I think the timing is off.

My choice is still Logan Lerman or Dylan O'Brien.

Uh, Efron is a box office draw?

More than Milo or Armie Hammer.

If you give him a star vehicle and franchise, he can open a picture.

We've seen that Armie Hammer cannot (and that was with the help of Johnny Depp).

They could be pulling something from the Grant Morrison stories like Batman: R.I.P with this. Maybe have Bruce Wayne supposedly die in the film, then lead into Nightwing. After that he could be brought back for Justice League 2. I could be wrong, but I can almost see WB approaching the Batman angle differently than the rest of the heroes in the DCEU. They could be building an expanded Batman universe within the DCEU as opposed to doing another trilogy. Afterall, Batman has already had a trilogy with the Nolan films.

He wouldn't be a traditional pick by any means.... but Gosling would work for this. He'd kill it in his own way.

36 though. I don't really mind the age though, some of these guys look younger than what they are.

No chance of a trilogy with Affleck. They have to make a move with Grayson or simply do Bat prequels, but that won't work if Reeves wants to direct more than one.

Yeah, but it's a mid to late 40s' Batman. The Wayne family was murdered in 1981 (hell I was two years off from even being born) in this universe. An older Dick Grayson stands to reason. I don't think it'll be Gosling though, I think it'll be Hammer. Dude, Dick Grayson and Slade Wilson were trolling the audience on twitter this past Christmas.
