I realize im probably in the minority but with the the review of spiderman 3 up and ppl saying its not as good as the second one, the question has to be asked. Was spiderman 2 all that good to begin with? I think it was bad, flat out bad. Doc Ock barely had time to do his thing. He was shown as a watered down version of the ock we know from the animated series, cuz honestly i never read the comics. I don't know im just disappointed. anyone else feel disappointed/let down by the sequel?

Loved Spider-Man 2. One of the best Marvel movies around.

I, too, wasnt all that impressed with Spidey 2...namely as they seemed to take a massive load all over Octopus. I wasnt a fan of the whole 'nice save the world guy controled by evil nasty meanie tentacles' bit. I also thought the fight scenes were rather sloppy, as Spidey (who can aparently life an entire steel-framed wall over MJ) can't knock out an overweight middled aged scientist....repeatedly.

*shruggles*

Is that you Bryan Singer?

I think it was bad, flat out bad.

Funniest quote ever! I refuse to believe this guy is serious. This has got to be a troll post or a joke. It's not that people can't be dissapointed, but....

Doc Ock barely had time to do his thing.

Just what "thing" is that? Eat a piece of pie, sing an opera, skydive?

sm2 was and is an overglorified mediocre bore-fest that has little to no replay value what so ever.

Too funny, you guys are hillarious. All your kidding aside though, I think this thread has little value. I know you guys are trying to be funny, but I don't really see where this thread can go.

'Spider-Man 2' is a masterpiece. Together with 'Batman Begins' the best film based on a comic. I hope that 'Spider-Man 3' is as good as this.

How can you hate SM2? Great storyline and some of the best action sequences.

I'm not trying to be funny...I think that sm1 and 2 are...well...crap  :o

Considering his screen time...I would have liked to see some pie eating, singing or...yes, some skydiving.

Ock had plenty of screen time.

Far, far more than Sandman and Venom got in Spidey 3.

Well, I didn't hate it but I was a little dissapointed. I liked SP 3 more and before people start freaking out and say I'm stupid, I just thought SP 3 had two things spidey 2 didn't. Replay value and it was just plain fun.

Spidey 2 has some minor flaws and problems, but they are minor - to this day I'm impressed by it.

shut up you know what he means. i LOVE this movie to (and so does 95% of the world) but let others share their opinion too, god damn man.

Ha well. i was one of those who was disappointed the pacing was the thing that took mr down. I was bored through a lot of the movie and the romantic scenes were really annoying and melodramatic instead of dramatic. But the thing that gets me the most is how people love the train clock tower fight scene. I mean the train thing lasted quite a bit but most of it was peter stopping the train the fight itself lasted very little and the moves weren't creative or exciting at all to me atleast. A friend of mine bought me one of the two packs which includes both movies and fro mtime to time I put sp2 to watch that train fight to check if there's something i like about it but man there's really just no way with it for me
Of course to each its own I simply didn't like it and i felt that the fight took place more o nthe clock tower because really the only thing happening in the train was just a lot of pulling and a couple of long cgi shots in which you could barely see what was happening.

I didn't like SM2, the dialogue was poorly written, there was only big speeches and regurgatation of lines from earlier in the film or the previous film. There was no actual conversations at all, twas horrid!

Bravo my friend, bravo!

SM2 is a much better movie than SM3 but SM3 has much more rewatch value (imho)

iono i kinda liked the first one better then all of em... they're all still good
