DId anyone else hate Spiderman 2?

Spider-Man 2 is not only my favorite comic book movie, it is my favorite movie EVER. I really mean that. It's my perfect movie.

All of the Spider-Man movies, in my opinion, have a certain charm to them that completely pulls me in. Spider-Man 2 not only had the charm and the excitement; it also tore at my heartstrings. It's just a fantastic movie.

I know that Spidey 2 might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely my cup of tea.

I totally agree. It has a certain magic that few movies have. Roger Ebert didn't call it the best comic book movie ever for no reason.

Spider-Man 2 I'd say is my favorite movie. I get more enjoyment from watching this than any other movie. The did a fantastic job. I don't feel it drags at all, it tugs at your heartstrings, it is just a great movie. It also has the single most exciting sequence in movie history (the train fight between Spidey and Ock, and Spidey stopping the train only to himself be saved by the very people he was saving).

To me, it was an "okay" movie... nothing more. I think the concept in itself is good and the action scenes are interesting, but my feelings towards it are so strange... in my eyes, it has almost no replay value. I haven't seen it more than 5 times since it came out and I'm not really interested in seeing it again... even though I'm a fan of superhero movies. When thinking about it, the only thing that "really" bothered me was the fact that Doc Ock couldn't be knocked out by Spider-Man, even though he was a normal human... other than that, I don't really have any problems with it, I just don't really like it.

Spidey 2 was fantastic. I hated Spidey 2.1. It dragged and took away a bit too much of the original cut's flare and conciseness.

I personally love this movie. It's one of my favorite movies. It has flaws, but what movie doesn't.

and Why is it always the same people complaining about these movies. You know who you are, in every thread you need to tell the world that you hate the Spider man movies, or atleast one of them. If you do that's fine, but why keep saying it over and over again. Especailly multiple times in the same thread.

Spider-man 2 is incredible and is rightly crowned as the greatest super hero film of all time. The people on here sayin its atrociously bad, terrible script etc, does 91% on RT not say something about the quality of this film?!? Dr Octopus was the most engaging and most visually striking villain of the series (Sandman could possibly have taken this award but didnt due to crumby 1 minute fight scenes) and the train fight sequence cannot be competed with by any action scene in any other superhero movie!!

All the haters try watching X3, Hulk, Daredevil and Blade Trinity for examples of what superhero films can potentially turn out as and then tell me SM2 is crap....... I might as well open a thread about how crap BB is.............. (thats extreme sarcasm before people reply with a barrage of abuse!!)
