I read yesterday in a brazilian magazine called SET the exact moment in which Jean's mind...blocks...shields(how do u say it in English?What Prof X put on ger mind when she was younger...), well, so this magazine said in what moment they`re destroyed...I never realized that, does anyone else know?I found it so interesting, cause it was a moment I never quite understood...

I understand what you are tryign to say.

WHen Jean was a child, her best friend was killed in a car accident and she lashed out on the psychic realm and Professor X found her.
He placed a psychic shield in her mind at that age to "restrain" her because he knew that she would be too powerful until she got that under control.

I think you are talking about in Xmen 1 at the Statue of Liberty when they show Jean holding her head after she is around Mag's machine at the end. You can clearly see something is wrong with her

I don't see how he could have known it would happen.

What I don't get is why he didn't know it had happened after it did. Surely he could sense the blocks were broken?
