Good ideas Daldo. There is already a thread dedicated to this exact speculation. This would of made a great addition to it and probably should be merged. I like the idea floating around that Magneto's machine in X1 destroyed the mental blocks in her head. If you noticed in X2...Cyclops tells Jean that nothing has been the same since Liberty Island. Her powers in X2 started to spin out of control and she gained a lot of powers during X2, after the mental blocks were destroyed in X1.

Yea I don't agree with that either. It maybe hard to read his first post but asking him to politely reword and repost a response would have been better.
