There was a panel of spidey where his LIPS were showing under the mask, like some weird molten outline? Creepy, and weird to see. I have no idea why they did that. :spidey:

if you think about it, you would be able to see his lips...it's a tight halloween mask essentially...

Yeah, I dig it when artists draw outlines for either nose, mouth, or ears when Spidey (or any mask wearer) is in the suit. Makes it seem a little more realistic, as it makes perfect sense when wearing just some tight cloth over your face that your features are obviously noticable.

Jae Lee also does it in his art for the first few Sentry books, and his Inhumans run a few years ago.

Why wear a mask at all? There is really no point is there?

Yes. Iirc, the lenses protect his eyes from the sun's glare, and the wind while web swinging at high speeds...

Not to mention all of the enhancements the Iron Spidey suit has...

And when he stops wearing that stupid suit why will he need to wear a mask?

i just want Iron Spidey OUTTA here
that thing screams "I'm Iron Man's B****!!"

i know, Iron Man installed it
Thats why Spidey ditches that suit to go for a suit that says "Spidey sucks thats why he needs Cap's help."

I hate that. Makes them look gimpish.

for one thing, he makes no decisions for himself anymore
he does anything that Iron Man tells him to do
and any day now he's going to cry like a baby when some villain kidnaps MJ/Aunt May
that's what you get for giving into peer pressure, guess you should have kept the mask on Spidey

I noticed how in this issue Spidey acted totally out of character. I also noticed how it totally conflicted with the Amazing issue that took place shortly thereafter, in that he hesitated in fighting Captain America and doted on the shield, only to have him wield it as a weapon, himself, in this issue.

I'm sorry. I'm not attacking you. I did notice, and I kind of didn't like it. It just looked weird. I understand the whole "realism" approach, but it kind of just looked goofy to me. I don't know.

Your allowd to attack people. But anyway, Spidey does have to get his balls back. But he isn't going to cry, thats Ultimate man. But He does do everything Iron Man says, for the most part. Iron Man is doing what he believes is right, so because Spidey is on Iron Man's side and has no clue what to do, he listens to Tony cause he respects him, for a reason I must've missed post "Other" Pre-civil war. But I think Captain America's credentials speak for himself considering he was saving America long before they were even born! I think he knows what he is doing, thus why more heros should trust him. And Cable is from the future and knows what will happen in it, but who's side is he on? Captain America. Mmmhh. What does that tell me? They both know what the "right side" is especially on something where right is wrong and "right" is what America says.
