I mean, yes supes saves everyonefrom Nk, and Lois et all are ok
He should have seen MArtha after the last convo w/Lois/Jason, imo.

And I wish somehow wish Luthor had been punished more severely for his actions.....

Am i the only one who feels this way?

to me, it felt very "dry"... that's the only way I can explain it right now.

Good idea. Him visiting his mom would have been sweet.

Overall the ending felt vague, I guess that's the word.

I expected more to be said between lois and supes. What was the hurry? Talk about all these emotions you've been having, the child, all of it. Kiss even. Instead he flies away like he's rushing to do the fly by before the movie ends.

There's so much left unsettled that was brought up. How does richard react to his son being superman's? What's lex going to do now that he's on abc's LOST? How's the kid going to deal with this news that he's super powerful?

It's all dropped. I think so anyway...

I believe the phrase is "to be continued..."

There's a reason not everything was wrapped up neatly.

 Exactly, the audience is supposed to ask, "How does Lex get off the island?", "What will happen between Supes and Lois now?" and so on.

It's just like the Spider-Man movies with Peter and MJ, X-Men movies with Logan and Jean, Batman Begins with Bruce and Rachel - if you get them together, it's great, but that's pretty much it. Instead, why not have the will-they-won't-they tension build over a series of films and have the audience keep coming back for more?

I understand though isn't the kid's true parentage a big deal? It's a given that this is a continuing story but it's like in batman begins when the ninjas sort of just dissapear and batman doesn't care, the whole thing about them knowing his identity is just swept under the rug.

I did feel a bit cheated out of some interesting drama in the love triangle when supes just smiles and flies away. Give us a hint of where this is all going at least... In begins, batman's last scene is all about his plans for the future. That'd have been nice here, I think.

The ending never reached a climax in my opinion. It does leave a lot of things unresolved. Time will tell if we'll find out what happens next.
