For all really "Die Hard" fans. This is an open discussion for the movie "A Good Day to Die Hard" and it's time to talk about this new film with John McClane. Well what did you think of this movie? I actually pretty enjoyed it actually
The problem is that the series started off gritty and subdued with a tautly woven plotline and set of characters; as well as scenes like John McClane making us cringe when he had to walk over broken glass barefooted.
At this point it's just a pale imitation of other over the top action films, what with McClane crashing cars that flip over 400 hundred times in sequence, escaping the wreckage unscathed, and then doing it again 20 minutes later. And they offer Bruce Willis saying, "I'm getting too old for this ****," as if it's some kind of white-out to that conspicuous fantasticality.
