Sooner or later you guys will see Dimension Films' remake of Pulse in theaters, but at least it's not like last year where every horror title was sitting on a shelf collecting dust! Today it was announced that the remake will now hit theaters September 8th, two months later than its July date. After one of their friends commits suicide, strange things begin happening to a group of young Tokyo residents. One of them sees visions of his dead friend in the shadows on the wall, while another's computer keeps showing strange, ghostly images. Is their friend trying to contact them from beyond the grave, or is there something much more sinister going on?

Talk about lack of faith in a film. it was suppose already suppose to have came out 3 months ago. Might as well send it straight to dvd and make a little money off it.

Not terribly surprising. Autumn is the season of crappy horror movies anyhow.

but this movie has been moved twice in three months. it's a remake of the old japan version of the same name.

Damn, It's a hard life for Veronica Mars, isn't it.

i heard it was because the ending wasnt satisfying

this preview actually creeped me out pretty damn well. i'd watch it, then not sleep for a few nights.

Isnt there a scene where a plane crashes and ****, I see contovery sparking up because its so close to Spetember 11.

no it was probably because it would have got killed by POTC2 at the box office.

Yeah but its the same thing as the japan version.

yeah. if hollywood can make a whole movie (2 or 3 in fact) about 9/11, then surely some random horror movie can have a plane crash in it.

People will complain about anything.

I know. people just need to relax.

i mean it was a horrible day. but what are we suppose to not put plane crashes into movies anymore?

Hey i'm interested as well. i'm just miffed at them pushing it back so many times.

i really need to start working 'miffed' into my vocabular exicon... it's such a great 80's word.

In that case, it'd probably have fit in perfectly with the rest of the movie.:)

Buti thought you liked horror movies.

I do.

I much prefer intense, balls to the wall horror films aimed specifically toward the die hard genre fanbase to films like this though.

Other than The Ring, none of these PG-13 supernatural thriller/remake types have done anything for me.
As much as I love The Ring, it did the genre more harm than good by causing the market to be flooded with one carbon copy after another.

yeah these PG-13 horror movies are getting annoying

i heard they cut this from an R Rating to a PG-13 Rating.

I'm sure it'll get an R-rated extended cut on dvd like The Grudge then.
