Joss Whedon. His sensibilities work fantastically on the big screen.
Yeah, he's awesome. Shame about 'The Isalnd of Dr Maraue. He's working on a new film called 'Vacation', so it should be cool.Richard Stanley- I thought Hardware had a cool look to it, and the same goes for Dust Devil.
Is Vacation film yet? I remember reading about it on twitch, two maybe three years ago, when Bruce Campbell was attached as lead.Yeah, he's awesome. Shame about 'The Isalnd of Dr Maraue. He's working on a new film called 'Vacation', so it should be cool.
Neill Blomkamp
Duncan Jones- directer of Moon and son of David Bowie, from what I hear we actually will be seeing a lot more of him soon.
It should be filming this year in either Algeria or Morocco with Dean Cain attatched to play the lead.Is Vacation film yet? I remember reading about it on twitch, two maybe three years ago, when Bruce Campbell was attached as lead.
I want to see Whedon do a X-Men film.
Abso-****in'-lutely. If Singer cant do First Class, I really want Fox to give Joss a go.
I forgot about him, but I totally agree. The whole time I was wondering if Spielberg directed it. He was really influnced by him with a lot of his camera moves. He should take over X-men for Singer.Mike Dougherty. Trick'r'Treat was great. Looking foward to whatever he's going to direct next. He's got the chops!

He does have "The Ward" filming now. And while I love Carpenter(The Thing is what got me into movies) his movies really haven't been the same since he entered the 90s.John Carpenter anyone?
fantastic post.and perfectTo be honest i wouldn't list either of these two here. Simply because they have just made 1 movie. Let's see if their following movies are as good or better then their first features.
Too often you see directors making an powerful impact with their first features and subsequently lose it .
Yeah, he said he hit a slump and didn't feel like directing. Fair enough. To be honest I enjoyed Escape From LA, but that's just me.He does have "The Ward" filming now. And while I love Carpenter(The Thing is what got me into movies) his movies really haven't been the same since he entered the 90s.
Also it's really weird that a lot of directos who haven't made a movie in years are popping up agian. Like Joe Dante has the "Hole" in post right now.
