The pictures below were taken the day I received my speeding ticket of 18 over in a 25 mph work zone. The speed decrease was quite excessive and the sign was out of view. (The decrease was 50 to 25) I knew this when I recieved the ticket and told the Officer that I didn't see the sign. His statement, "We put them up today." I told him that I was going to take picutures because I thought it was ridiculous. Today I went to court... the ticket was dropped. DIRTY COPS!!!!!!!

PS~ The sign was later moved from its location and change to 40 mph.

Speeding in a work zone is always a ticketball offense and it's not the police who puts up those signs it's the construction workers.

Secondly always fight the ticket. Usually they reduce the sentence or drop the fine all together.

Or you are like me and have PBA.

So a cop doing his job is dirty??? They're dirty when they pull you out of your car and beat you for throwing litter out the window. Erzengel is right though, always fight the ticket.

The cop specifically said HE put up the sign. The 25 mph sign was later moved and a 40 mph sign was put in its place.

There are many speed traps around. Cops love hanging out where there's a drop form 50 to 40 or so and they know people wouldn't be paying attention.

Eh you got off. Be happy about it. I've gotten 2 tickets and always fought them and dont' have any points on my license or my insurance.

That is quite a drop and they probably got a lot of complaints about it hence it being brought up to 40.

Cops have nabbed me twice, my legs have never shaken so much in my life as those few minutes I'm sitting there.
