Come on you knew it was coming, from the imbeciles that brought you Date/Epic/Meet The Spartans comes another travesty that supposedly spoofs disaster flicks yet I don't know why the abundance of superheroes on the third poster, Batman, Hulk, Hellboy, Iron Man, Hancock, Indiana Jones, Amy Winhouse, High School Musical, Kung Fu Panda.

But you can always count on Carmen Electra to star in this $hit.

and god, that third one, if possible, is making my anger towards this inevitable cinematic abortion rise to all new levels.


seriously, are they even spoofing any disaster movies in this thing? or is it just going to be a bunch of superheroes, hannah montana, paris hilton, and a black midget indiana jone's running around farting and getting hit by random things that fall out of the sky?!


seriously, i would like to meet these toolboxes that write and direct this crap. not so i can kill them, like so many say, but just simply to ask them to defend what they're doing. ask them why they think that what they do is okay. i'd just seriously love to here a legitimate response by them to that.

Bringing this stupid movie only makes me scream like a mad lady or burn every copy to reach us to save people from wasting their time. They have pulled this spoof movie stuff tooooooo far. Where it becomes pointless, and money swallowing.

They've started airing commercials for this attrocity. Are comedies supposed to make you angry? Because that's what this movie does to me every time I see a commercial for it. Seriously, YOUR FAKE CELEBRITIES AREN'T FUNNY IF YOU HAVE TO TELL US WHO THEY ARE! I wonder if the *****e bags who make these movies realize just how much the world hates them, and this is their revenge, or if they really are completely ******ed and think that their movies are actually funny.

The only time that people laughed during the trailer for this movie when I saw Tropic Thunder, was when I shouted "WHERE'S THE FUNNY?" at the end. That should tell you something about how this movie will be received at the BO, I hope.

Most of the movies they're parodying aren't even "disaster movies" FFS! I feel like my intelligence has been insulted.

In fact, I saw the trailer playing for this in a theater, and there was not one single chuckle. Just sighs of, "Ugh, another one?!"

Correction: NONE of the movies they spoofed are disaster movies! They had an asteroid fall on a girl who claimed to be Hannah Montana. Apparently, they didn't have the budget to spoof real disaster movies like Cloverfield, The Day after Tomorrow, or even freaking Armageddon.

Funny how it has nothing to do with Disaster flicks. At least the first teaser for meet the sPartans presented itself as a 300 sPoof. This doesn't even do that aside from dropping a paper mache asteroid on a kid in an Iron Man costume. And considering the lack of plot or character development or unforced laughter, I hesitate to even call this a movie.

In fact, they should just rename it...

With the ******ed posters for these movies, I get the strong feeling that they're photoshopping new characters in right up until the last minute.

Also, I saw a commercial for this recently where the narrator said "the years biggest movies are about to get what they deserve!" If that doesn't scream "God didn't want us to be directors so he didn't give us any talent, and this is our way of acting out our anger and jealousy towards the entire industry," I don't know what does.
