I'm only going to say this one more time, as I'm sure everybody else is tired of having to repeat this over and over and OVER as well:see but thats the thing, evolution is a fact, like i said before, we see it happen all the time.
MYA means, million years ago.
![]()
you see how many years apart each of these species were. well technically they are the same species, they had just evolved. the bottom horse is what we have now, now think of what it may look like in a few million years.
things evolve.
think about humans, look how weve evolved. we basically evolve every day, its called aging but, it still some how counts as evolution. we grow taller, our hair grows longer, our nails, our faciel fetures change from kid to adult.
some can choose to belive, evolution is theory, and some can belive its fact.
but hey, what ever.
BY DEFINITION, EVOLUTION IS NOT SCIENTIFIC FACT. BY DEFINITION, EVOLUTION IS A SCIENTIFIC THEORY.
Being a biology major and an aspiring scientist, and having PERSONALLY TALKED TO SCIENTISTS AND PROFESSORS ON THIS AND SIMILAR MATTERS, I can say that evolution is a theory.
Ask a scientist, Ice-man. I'm not even kidding. Ask one. Your apparent definition of, "theory," is not applicable by scientific standards, and you are, therefore, wrong.
Furthermore, the lineage of, "horses," you've shown there accompanied by your explanation shows your clear lack of understanding of evolutionary principles. "you see how many years apart each of these species were. well technically they are the same species, they had just evolved."
They are NOT, in fact, the same species. Hence, the differring species names listed in the figure.
