My new hybrid (sedan) is getting 54 mpg combined. It's one of the things giving me more confidence in the future. Though, I don't know if these cars last as long, nor do I know much about the costs of building a hybrid battery.

think the batteries will be an issue for a while until we can figure out how to make them more cheaply. Heard horror stories of 40K to replace one.

Perhaps not.

I suspect that some agencies are already engaged in geoengineering without having gotten approval through the proper channels.

Geoengineering may be dangerous, but it can be cheap.
