Yes! NC Democrats’ Instagram page has officially called the state Supreme Court race for incumbent Alison Riggs, who has secured a full eight year term. She won by just over 623 votes.

Big shout out to new NC state Democratic Party chair Anderson Clayton for helping raise money, GOTV campaign and secure key statewide wins for governor, AG, superintendent of education, lieutenant governor and now state Supreme Court justice.

The 2026 midterms will hopefully be very favorable for incumbent justice Anita Earls and whomever challenges Thom Tillis’ Senate seat.
