The weird thing too is that we're facing all this.... pretty much over a semantic problem. If Trump came out and said, "Look.. I don't care if it's fencing. We've just gotta get this thing secure, physically if possible as much as we can." Democrats and everyone would respond to that. But it's this absurdity about a wall. Folks such as myself are thinking that it sounds impractical. Like... I don't know how an unmanned wall stops illegal immigration, so I just don't see a point. Fencing can be just as good, and some places a wall is impractical...
I'd think the key things would be:
- To have those drones seems highly valuable. Especially if they have the ability to go infrared at night.
- More border patrol staff and resources for border patrol staff, bottom line.
