If I'm being honest, I'd love to have a wife that was able to have dinner cooked by 6 every day and a beer ready for me when I get home with a nice pair of comfy slippers to put on. I think a lot of guys would like that sort of comfort and consistency and there is nothing wrong with wanting that. The problem arises when the guy ignores the wife's opinion in the matter and demands this sort of thing from their wife. Some women don't mind having dinner ready and providing this sort of old school home life for their husband every day. Other women just aren't like that tho. Maybe they don't like to cook or can't cook. Maybe they just have a busy schedule. Maybe their work schedule doesn't permit this sort of life style. Maybe thsy just dont feel the drive to "nurture" their husband in that way. And thats ok too. Its all about respecting your significant other. That respect has to go both ways.

I get that but the ones that I see running are the ones who are the "Good ol' days" types. Where the man was boss, the wife did as he wanted and the 'others' knew their place.

For example: The current administration with Mr. "I can't be alone with women" Pence, Mr. "The Mexicans are sending us rapists and drug dealers" Trump and Mr. "Reefer Madness" McConnell.

The best part is no one in Missouri knows who this guy is. I saw an interview with a conservative analyst who said he couldn't commit 100% to Sykes being a legitimate candidate and not an elaborate performance art endeavor.

Its all about resource management. If the RNC has to spend more resources than expected to preserve Cruz's seat, then somewhere else will get the shaft. Considering state level seats that where +20 for the GOP have been flipping, there is definitely some concern going on.
