I think the prices for figs are too high, and the sheer amount of them that arn't moving is insane.. (they probably need to retire some)

disney interactive should come up with some multiple uses for them too, maybe mini-games or something

Seems like DI 3.0 is going to stagger the releases farther apart, and also release more content than 3.0. That should keep interest in the game alive throughout the year. 2.0 only had 3 playsets, and they weren't good.

This one has more play sets spread out over the year. 3 Star Wars play sets, one at launch in starter pack, one in september, and one probably in December. One Marvel, who knows when. And at least one Disney playset, which will be available at launch.

I'm not surprised. I brought 2.0 and lots of figures because I'm a big Marvel fan, but the design of the playset and the quality of the toy box just weren't good enough. If 3.0 falters, then I think the market will be dominated by Skylanders SuperChargers and Lego Dimensions, and there isn't enough room for three toys to life kind of games.

technically ther's 4. There's Nintendo's Amiibo's, sorry amiibi .... what ever, they also have a cross over with sky Landers. well it's the least expensive of the 4.

Disney Infinity 3.0 has a little bit of Kingdom Hearts in it. Sora’s keyblade is the ultimate unlock in Disney Infinity 3.0.

Disney Infinity 3.0 has a little bit of Kingdom Hearts in it. Sora’s keyblade is the ultimate unlock in Disney Infinity 3.0. The news was announced at the Disney Interactive panel at the D23 Expo where attendees received a Mickey figure exclusive Power Disc that transforms him into King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts III.

Some attendees are selling the power disc on eBay where the price is trending around $150 as a final sale price.


Disney Infinity 3.0 comes out on August 30 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Finally got me the PS4 Boba Fett collector's edition a few days ago... It's awesome!

There are a few weird changes compared to 2.0 though...
For example- you can't use power disc vehicles in the Toybox hub... Tried the Grievous' Wheel Bike and it didn't work... Unless I'm wrong you could use them in the 2.0 hub...

Also there's no more power disc blind bags anymore this time around...
Although I agree that it was a pain in the butt to get plenty of power disc doubles over time, stumbling on rare ones was pretty cool.
For the time being, the only power discs one can get for 3.0 is a blister of 4. There's two background discs, a Mace Windu team up disc and the Grievous Wheel Bike vehicle disc. That's it. "No more, no less."
Kinda sucks the fun out of the whole power disc idea and makes it look much more like the rather expensive DLC it really is...

Finally, it's kinda weird that they made figures of the entire 'Rebels' crew but left out one of my favourites- the Twi'lek Hera... At first I thought she would be added to the roster at a later date, but there doesn't seem to be a place prepared for her in the game's Hall of Heroes...
Speaking of which, the Hall of Heroes doesn't seem to have room for any other figures or power discs beyond the upcoming Classic Trilogy figures/discs... Seems to me there will be less Star Wars figures and discs compared to last time with Marvel.

Still, great game!

There are at least 4 other power disc packs coming out. One for the Original Star Wars characters, The Good Dinosaur, Zootopia, and Tomorrowland.
And I've heard that the Hall of Heroes will be updated as new characters are added, so no worries!
