Cant wait for all the Star Wars series.

Though I have to question...is there a "future" in Star Wars? They've found most of their success during a very specific period and present day doesnt seem to be that yet apart from the Ray trilogy.

They have announced so much content and they have yet to touch Pixar and Marvel. Talk about stealing WB's HBO Max's thunder.

HBO better announce a bunch of Harry Potter spin off shows. And a bunch of DC shows set in the same universe (neither of which will happen lol)

Luke Evans was definitely the best thing about that Beauty and the Beast live action movie IMO, but then again I'm somewhat bias because I have loved Luke Evans in almost everything I've seen him in.

That Star Wars/Lucasfilm presentation was pretty great overall IMO even if we didn't get a Boba Fett/Bo-Katan show announcement.
Those 2 along with Ahsoka were the ones I thought would be nailed on.

Honestly? When kids who grew up with the sequel trilogy come of age and are super vocal with their love like prequel fans are. Might be a minute though.

As a British Columbian seeing Vancouver passed off for cities and places that look nothing remotely like it is comedy gold.
My favourite's when you can see the mountains up past the North Shore and then they say it's like New York or whatever. :hehe:

My instinct is to be cynical about this much Star Wars content but these almost all sound super fun. Does someone have a list of announced showrunners?

Any indication if we're talking Donald Glover as Lando or?
I was going to ask about Glover. So much content that I need a list afterwards to be able to start processing it all lol.

Just saw that even The Kardashians are doing programs under Disney now

The 90's kid in me is really eating up the idea of a Hocus Pocus sequel. It might not be good, but damn am I still hyped for it even if it took this long to come out lol.

Wait did Rian Johnson's new series get cancelled? I don't think there was a mention of it at least from the Twitter topic
After how the fandom has treated him and the success of Knives Out, I don’t think he needs the headache of this bull****.

Which is a shame, bc I loved what little I heard of what he was planning.

So Rangers of the New Republic..

Who are the Rangers?

Damn they are saving Marvel for last, what if.....X-Men....
It's all too much haha. I can't remember an event that has lived up to the billing to this extent, and it's still got plenty left to announce.

Best case scenario? Paul Sun-Hyung Lee. Worst case scenario? Gina Carano. I'm expecting probably both though with Filoni showing up as well.

Agreed on all counts.

Gonna try and hash it together:
The Acolyte - Leslye Headland
Lando - Justin Simien
Rangers of the New Republic - Favreau and Filoni
Ahsoka - Favreau and Filoni
The Bad Batch - Jennifer Corbett
Andor - Tony Gilroy
Thanks for this. Look forward to what the list will be at the end.

Man, I keep forgetting Jungle Cruise is happening, wasn't that supposed to come out in like July 2019? :funny:

Sounds like this will be a passion project then. Expecting big things!
