TV Disney+

General Television

Good to see them being behind their non-Marvel and Star Wars stuff. Though, based on this trailer, I will still side eye why Love, Victor got moved.

I admit, I don't remember explicitly watching Doogie Howser that much. I know I did, because that theme is triggering memberberries like all hell.

You can forget any Neil Patrick Harris appearances...

Was this already the whole series or was it just a trailer?

I guess since this is on Disney + it won't crossover with Magnum PI or NCIS: Hawaii.

Looks like he could only appear as Neil Patrick Harris himself and not Doogie Howser since they acknowledge that as a TV show, which is where she seems to get her nickname from as a homage to that.

Maybe they can get interesting one season and do a Last Action Hero and have OG Doogie Howser come out of the TV.

NPH would be more like Barney Stinson now even if he did appear.

Only Murders In The Building has been fun so far. I almost died laughing during the dead cat scene in this week's episode. :funny:

Really curios about Just Beyond.
Hope its like Benedict Society referring to production value and not the like the usual Disney Channel series

So I watched the new Doogie Howser (I am never going to be able to spell the actual name). Cute show for the most part. Like how they kept the journal part updated with the current generation of kids. Jason Scott Lee is definitely a fun character.

I know some people don't like the trailer, but I can't really comprehend why. It seems to adeptly communicate what the show aims to be: a 90s, Die Hard-esque buddy cop action movie between the experienced veteran and the hot headed newbie.

wonder why that is….since September has been so “strong” on originals

I imagine kids are back to school and don’t have as much free time watching tv at home.

Chapek is a digital guy who doesn’t care about quality or the “content” other than the quickest buck. I hope he doesn’t last much longer.

Rumor was he was hoping Shang-Chi would fail in theatres so he’d have more of an excuse to just throw everything on Disney+ immediately.

if its cheaper, then the money it costs now, then its ok.
but if the current pricing is with ads and the membership without ads is much more expensive, then Disney plus will suck in the future
