Same here. But I kinda felt the same way about Tangled early on, and it ended up surprising me.

Well, The Princess and the Frog an Tangled were both great, so if this is half as good as those two, it will at least be enjoyable.

Not a bit fan of "The Princess and the Frog". I adore "Tangled". Adore it. "Wreck-it-Ralph" is great. Same with the last Pooh film. The film truly focuses on the relationship of the sisters and not the stupid little mascot, this has great potential.

I love Princess and the Frog. It had likeable interesting characters, a unique setting and time period that Disney hasn't used before (turn of the 20th Century New Orleans), the animation was great, the songs were quite good, and it had one of the best Disney villains ever.

I think the original story is more interesting than what they decided to turn the film into, it was a simple story of a girl rescuing her friend, now her friend is her comrade and shares the screentime, while the ice queen is her sister. Instead of just a female protagonist we have a male too, which is pretty comon in these films, and suddenly the Ice Queen becomes connected to her.

The teasers with mascots makes my faith on this film even more diminished.

so it seems we're getting a new trailer next Thursday!!

I really liked that guy but compared to other Disney villains he's low on the list for me, lol.

the posters have been kind of meh.

but, I have a good feeling about the story. I've read "excerpts" from some of the leaked books on the net. and if the actual film will be anything like the books, especially the ending, then I think I might have to bring some extra Kleenex to wipe my eyes.

don't want to spoil anything..........but yeah. :(

and the true villain!!! :wow:

and I've also heard a tiny bit of Idina Menzel (Elsa) singing "Let it Go." I need to hear the whole song!!!

oh, and I'm totally confused by Elsa's hair color. across the posters, merch, books, etc., sometimes it is blonde and sometimes it is white, even in her "snow queen" state.

I must say, the trailers for Tangled did NOTHING for me. I thought they were stupid, and based on the trailers, I had 0 interest in seeing the film.

it wasn't until I watched Tangled at home on DVD when I absolutely fell in love with the movie.

I LOVE Tangled; but the trailers didn't really do it justice.

hopefully, we will get an awesome trailer for Frozen next week. it has to be magical and grand, not corny and stupid.

You know they're gonna play up the comic relief for the most part. Disney used to have trailers focusing on the drama and the comedy with their animated flicks. Remember the Lion King's teaser? Awesome.

the teaser with Olaf and Sven was pure comic relief.

they really need a more serious, dramatic trailer that puts the focus on the main characters, the sisters.

I don't expect a dramatic trailer yet. Give it time, though.

give it time?? the movie comes out in 2 months!! lol

I'm surprised it's taken this long for Disney to release a proper trailer for this thing.

Trailers are often misleading, especially these days I've noticed.

If they really wanted to mislead, they'd show them all tanning on a sunny beach. People would be all like, "Huh?". :o

I loved IM3, but man was I so pumped for Kingsley's awesome take on the Mandarin. Looked so badass in the trailer.

You'd think that IM 3 was the darkest Marvel movie to date by looking at the trailers, like Nolan directed it or something. Yeah, the film turned out to be rather different. The trailer for Ang Lee's Hulk made it seem like a "Hulk smash" action movie. That scene turned out to be the ONLY cool action in the movie.

Tangled's trailers were totally misleading.

they made Rapunzel into some crazy stalker chick who hides in the shadows and ensnares you with her hair......:o

turned out, Rapunzel's the most adorable Disney princess.......EVER!!! :hrt:

Facilier in TPatF was one of the best parts of the film. It's a shame he couldn't have been in a movie with a stronger story. The middle part of the film drags terribly and they waste a lot of time messing around in the swamps - the whole frog catcher sequence could have been cut with no effect on the story.

I'm also puzzled as to how a rich pretty bimbo like Charlotte doesn't even have a boyfriend.

Hopefully Frozen will make more sense.

I loved Facilier and found him to be a much better villain than Mother Gothel, however on a listing of top Disney villains he definitely isnt the highest. Facilier's solo song and sequence was among Disney's best and Ray's 'Evangeline' had such an enchanting southern charm. Needless to say I like PATF but I do wish Disney would have stuck to their original story and not made any changes to every little thing the black community found offensive before they even saw the movie.

@sueb1863 if you weren't a prince Charlotte didn't want you.

I'm still not seeing much of a difference between Frozen and Tangled hell the animations even look similar to Tinker Bell's movies they could have done better.
