All hands down, the greatest thing about this movie was Uma Thurman's performance. Even when the acting or dialogue came out mediocre, you had a great body to drool over.

Well, for those of us who go to the cinema for more than drooling over the female form, there was superb cinematography, sets and costume design. The sound design is very good as well actually. And the special effects are impressive, the combination of CGI and model work is flawless.

Well of course. I'm one to give credit to all areas its due ... even if some may seem a bit shallow, as in Poison Ivy's appearance. So I need to add as to supplement some comments already made.

The sets are nothing short of spellbinding. Anyone who doesn't appreciate some of the architecture designs for Gotham are simply lying or not in the right mind. Because of the CGI/Model Work/ etc, when watching B&R there is a sense of having teleported to a Wonderland.

You know those gigantic human statues holding up portions of skyscrapers? The observatory is one example. Those were done perfectly. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is where Batman and Robin are pursuing Freeze down a statue's outstretched arm. They put the pedal to the metal and zoom off a finger (all except Robin of whom is left on the index finger, frustrated that Batman didn't trust his judgment at making the jump across).

She looked absolutely horrible throughout the movie with all that horrific makeup and hideous wig work, and her exaggerated "sexy" voice was, as one critic put it, "enough to turn a straight man gay." Nope, sorry. We didn't even have THAT as far as I'm concerned.

She looked great, but I agree that she went way too far in trying to act and talk sexy (with every single word!) and ended up behaving like a drag queen.

I remember seeing this movie when I was 7, I was like Whoa! But now its just a good movie to watch if you smoke alot of pot.

"If I'm suppose to be Batgirl, then why do I look more like Robingirl?"

I remember seeing this movie the friday it came out. Unlike my experience with watching Batman Forever, I had the displeasure of viewing the film with about 50-70 very talkative kids who were obviously excited to see another Batman movie. Fortunately for them, they seemed pretty happy with the movie when they end credits began to roll. Unfortunately for me, I knew the Batman films at that time had very likely reached it's end. And for good reason.

Batman & Robin was released on June 20,1997. It is June 20,2007!!! HAHAHAHAHA!~
I remember going and afterwards thinking oh,man, this is the end. I was so ticked off. It killed the series and now there are stupid Nolan movies, that are dull and just are not Batman.

I saw it at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood and could overhear people saying that it was gonna be good because of Arnold's starpower.

At first I had to soak it all in until I realized what a terrible Batman movie it was.

I think I saw it opening weekend. Might have been second weekend. I remember thinking it was pretty good. My only problems at the time were Bane, how someone could just be 'thawed out' after being 'frozen', and how Alfred had setup everything in the cave for Barbara.

Then I made the mistake of watching the movie again when it came on tv. And the more I try to watch it again, the worse it gets. Which is why I gave up trying to watch a long time ago.

About the only scenes I like to watch is between Bruce and Alfred. I think they had a good chemistry together on screen.
