The Dark Knight Should there be a teaser trailer attached to "Spider-Man 3"?

Now, obviously, not all of the filming will be completed by June/July of 2007, but would you want to see an early preview of what they've put together so far in June/July 2007? Logical choice, if it was released in that time frame, it would be attached to "Spider-man 3". The SM3 trailer was attached to Superman Returns, so who knows.

they will defiently put something with harry ptoter 5, there is no doubt.

but spiderman 3 is a bit soon. my guess is if they do, itll be a very simple teaser-i.e. just words, maybe a picture, and then the title.

Only if they've filmed enough to show an amazing teaser. I'll skip on the lazy logo treatment. Plenty of other films next year to introduce the audience to a new batfilm.

It's only fair that WB releases a trailer with S3 since Sony released theirs with Superman Returns. I don't care if they haven't filmed much, slap something together and show the masses it's coming! The world will see S3, it would only make sense.

I think that SM3 is going to be a touch early. But then again... I'm no marketing expert. It might serve them well to get a poster out there with the date and something really enticing. Like a joker card pinned to a wall with a shuriken batarang. That would be kind of neat image although it might not fit with the kind of marketing campaign they want to have.

Anywho... it'll be interesting to see what kind of attention is drawn to the film. Most people don't know that Heath Ledger is going to be the joker and so on and the people I've told are like "what? really?".

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE the first teaser to be something shot specifically for it. Not pictures/footage with narration but a little sequence that will grab people like the bank robbery trailer for SM1.

That's kinda the formula, isn't it? They might go a little bit different this time a la Spiderman 3. They might go for a bigger trailer sooner.

But from a marketing standpoint... would interest stagnate if we started to early? Would the public grow weary of a drawn out ad campaign? Maybe it would psych them up and hold their attention. I'd hope for the latter, but I'm not expert.

I guess it's not bad for a fan-made trailer using no footage from Begins. I think the music was a poor choice, and I couldn't help but be distracted that everyone looks about 15. Gordon's mustache gave me a good laugh..

i think it's because they are 15.
which is pretty good, considering that not many people at that age set out to make their own movies.
