a bird FLEW under my car one time.. and I couldnt stop it and I saw it skidding in my rearview mirror.... It was suicidal though It wasnt my fault.

even if they are your friends you should report them. they can get in very big trouble for that. people might not realize it, but animal cruelty can get you several years in prison. By letting them do it, your doing it too. you have the power and the obligation to stop them. simply telling them how you feel.

and justly so! nobodly would like to feel the pain of being hit by a car. it would be unbearable. and that animal might not be able to calculate 782 divided by 4, but it does know it doesn't want to feel unbearable pain.

I ran over an already dead one and I still felt bad.

It depends. If it's a rabbit, someone's household pet, or a fox, I'll swerve if necessary/possible. I'd feel bad about hitting one of them.

However, every time I go back to my hometown to visit my cousin (he lives out in the 'boonies'), I always run over possums. They just stare into your headlights and play dead. I help them beyond pretending. I just keep going and this doesn't bother me.

Oh yeah, I'll obviously swerve to miss a deer, but if I hit it, I wouldn't feel bad. Chances are that it would total one of my vehicles and that anger would overpower whatever compassionate feelings I had towards the doe, fawn, or buck.

Depends. If it's a snake, then no. Hahaha, take that! If it's a kangaroo, then yes. Poor bugger. I'd feel sorry if I ran over squirrels, cats, dogs, birds, kangaroos, wallabies, possums and deers. They're nice. I'd floor the gas if they were snakes, spiders, penguins and bears.

I don't feel any guilt. In fact I normaly drive the car back and spit on the corpse before driving off again.

I do the same thing when I hit children or prostitutes.
