I don't know what you mean, so I'll adress both possible conversation points.

No, I wasn't driving, so it wasn't my fault, but, still...:(

Or, yes, we definitely hit that dog. It was horrible.

I dont...stupid animal, using my car to commit suicide

:o I don't run over animals...I swerve to miss them and take people out. I'm just kidding. I don't have a car or driver's license's, but if I did, I would either swerve or put on my brakes. I ain't running over no animal.

Especially if it is a squirrel.

I've hit several squirrels and it's awful to see them in the rear view mirror especially if they are still flopping around.:( :(

definately not like, a possum (well, maybe a little) but i hit a dog once... i had 4 or 5 cars behind me, and one in the lane next to me, and a barrier/median thing on the left, and a dog ran out in front of me while i was doing 50ish... so, i could either slam on the breaks, or swerve, and cause a pile-up, or suck it up and kill a dog... so i killed a dog. and it was the worst feeling ever.

I owned a Rabbit once...it made the most graphic sound ever. It wasn't my fault though...the little bugger ran between my tires.

they'll tell you in any driving class: if you see a deer (or otherwise large animal) run out in front of you, don't hit your brakes, and definately don't swerve... if anything, slam on the gas and just hope you make it through without causing a major accident.

.. Lately dumbass birds fly directly at my windshield, scaring the **** out of me, and causing me to swerve.

But the real question should be this: Do you feel bad running over people?

I don't feel bad unless the impact damages my vehichle. Once a dog busted one of my fog lights.:(

RIP fog light.

If I do run over something though, I try and go back and make sure it's dead. Once a girlfriend from highschool was with me and I hit a possum. I went back to make sure it's dead, so I proceeded to "spin out" on it's head. She started crying, and then laughing, and then crying, and lauging. Needless to say, she didn't last long.

no, it's their fault for not looking both ways before crossing.

No. I assume a person would have common sense not to walk across a busy highway or street. I ain't swerving for no person...I hit the brakes, but won't swerve the car. Examples...

A) I see a person standing in the road. I hit the brakes.

B) I see the person too late to hit the brakes, but I could swerve. Might swerve in that case.

C) I see the person and I am too late to hit the brakes, but I can still swerve. However, if I do swerve, I run over a animal. Well jack, you shouldn't be in the road anyway.

Man-Thing...that's not cool. How can you do that? You should stop the car...and get out to see if the animal is laive. If so, take it to the nearest animal hospital. If I was in the car with you, and ''spin out'' on it's head. Well, you have one disgusting black eye.
