Someone earlier mentioned Kingdom of Heaven getting gutted by fox for the theatrical release. What might have been hailed as one of the best films of last year was turned into a shallow action epic. They cut like an entire hour out. The directors cut is a really great movie in my opinion. But I am also reminded of Daredevil. The theatrical cut of that movie is a rushed mess of a film, but the directors cut is much more fleshed out and while still not perfect, it is a really good movie in my opinion. Fox seems to think that we all want rushed, truncated films that we can just get in, see it and get out quickly so they can get the next showing in.

Yeah that is my only gripe with Fox is that they keep gutting these good movies. I mean im not an idiot I know they are in this biz to make money but why do the movies have to suffer? X3 would have been a great movie if it had been 2+ hours.
