first time i was was just randomly looking for states and placing them. I only got 35 out of 48

but then i just went through the list alphabetically and got 47 out of 48

Okay, maybe I should try this again when I'm not falling alseep on the keyboard. I ended up getting mentally side-tracked after every state I got right ("Nevada goes next to California. Isn't Lake Tahoe in both states? Did I ever cross state lines that time I took a vacation in Lake Tahoe? I know gambling was legal, but doesn't-- OH ****, TIME'S UP!")
