First Blood is 9/10 for me, one of my favorite action mixed with drama films.

But the rest of the series is questionable, 2 and 3 are pretty poor from what I remember and Rambo/Rambo 4 was decent but still a glimmer compared the original.

Ranking.

First Blood (9/10)
Rambo (6.5/10, the gore was pretty good and so was the climax)
Rambo 3 (4.5/10)
Rambo: First Blood Part 20 (4/10)

First Blood is one of the best movies ever, and always will be, the 2nd is okay, the 3rd is poor and the 4th was pretty good. I was hoping they would leave it at 4 personally.

Love's a strong word. The first one is excellent and the last one is better than it should be. But the middle 2 have more in common with the DTV action movies Cuba Gooding Jr. and Wesley Snipes is stuck doing.

First Blood is one of the best action/dramas ever. The ending alone is worth the price of the DVD/Bluray. Franchising that film was the worst thing that happened to that movie and frankly to Stallone as well.

First Blood is the best as most here have mentioned. Then Rambo, a great way to end the series. Then Rambo First Blood Part II. It's cheesy as hell but there's some fun 80s over-the-top magic there.

And yes, Rambo III is the worst. Very boring, the worst sin for an action movie.

First Blood is good, beyond that I didn't see any of the others.


Also, the movies' titles are screwed up.

Rambo 3 was too over the top. I enjoyed the gritty fourth film immensely. First Blood is a classic and Rambo 2 was a decent follow up.
