Otherwise they wouldn't be my friends. I'd favors for them. Help them out if they needed it. Listen and try to help with problems and advice. But to an extent.
I don't look to get anything out of a friendship...but when you do a lot for your friends and they can't even give you a shred of help in a time of need...that's when you drop them. And that's happened to me a lot.
So, no, I don't love my friends. But they're good people.

I would love to like you."Love" and "like" are just different degrees of intensity for describing emotional attachment.
And that's why I'm a romantic.![]()
Love is a strong word.
To me it implies someone you would die for.
and I never had friends like that.
Family is another story though.
Another good and interesting point. Some of the most treacherous people I've met have been family.

You can't choose who is in your family, but you can choose your friends.
Sometimes family is the worst and friends are much better.
You're lucky. 3 strikes you're out, I don't care if we're blood related. Being screwed over by someone 3 times is more than enough chances. You can choose a husband or wife and love your children unconditionally.
I've lost a few friends and I always brush it off. I could never just "brush off" losing my immediate family.

Yeah, but some of them still haven't moved any further and all still hang out together.I find that the word friend has become rather meaningless. If Facebook is to be believed most of the people you knew in high school were your friends.
