And as I said before, it's possible to cut yourself and not be depressed.

I have a cut on my arm from work and it hurts.

Really stupid... When i was small i used a safety pin and tried to make a slash on my eye trying to look like sub-zero.. when i first poked my skin and saw alittle blood i cried lol.

I considered it when I was depressed, but there are certain times in your life where being selfish, thinking about yourself, and enjoying life for what it is isn't the sort of thing you should be ashamed of. It's better to embrace that than to do something exceedingly stupid.

I was around 16 when I had a suicide note written and the knife to my wrist, but couldn't go through with it. And now that I've been happily married for 5 years now, and with a wonderful step-daughter and another little girl on the way, I' m damn glad I didn't.
