What's the scariest thing that ever happened to you?

I have been reading a lot of posts on other sites where people talk about the scary things that have happened to them like strange people knocking on the door late at night. Scary occurences like a car following you as you walk by yourself late at night, things of that nature. Anything scary or unnerving ever happen to any of you guys and if so tell the story and the age you were at the time.

This store had no pizzas in it, thankfully. If it did, though, I would have offered that ******* one of my pizzas. That would have been payback enough.

I was once walking along a wall about 10ft of the ground, I lost my footing & landed groin first into the wall.. I thought I had sliced an artery in my groin as I looked down & blood was everywhere. Thankfully I didn't, I only shattered both my testicles & severed my penis.
It was a close call to say the least..

scariest thing that has happened to me is while downstairs in my friends basement with him and our girlfriends, the lights shut off and the walls started to bang. then when we ran upstairs we could hear a little kid laughing. but when we went back downstairs no one was there. 3 months later...our band was having practice down in the same basement. my best friends girlfriend took pictures of the practice and while we were going through them that night..in one of the pictures you can see a little kids face! needless to say i havent been down there since :P
