In one hundred years, I might just get to like you. Ha-ha-HA! (freeze frame)

Okay, I've been racking my (admittedly small) brain and I can't identify if this is a quote from something or not.

Please put me out of my self induced misery Mr. Inc. :O

Sorry bout that chum... It's a quote from MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000, itself quoting the schlock horror film KILLDOZER with Clint Walker. It sounds so much like the cliche stuff characters say at the end of syndicated episodic TV from the late 70's/early 80's.

Yes. It is the only place where I can get some peace and quiet for a few minutes.

Well going by the current results it still seems like reading on the john is pretty popular. But I'm glad to see there are other weirdos like me that don't do it.

^^
It is not weird to not read in the toilet.....if you mixed music in the toilet THAT would be weird :)
I whistle sometimes, The Imperial March from SW.

I guess because I don't have a family or live with people that bother me I don't view the bathroom as a place to get some quiet time haha. For me I love chilling in my room. I can do whatever I want, I'm rarely ever bothered and there is much more cool stuf in my room than the bathroom. I can understand if you have kids and a family and all that how the bathroom probably provides a nice little reprieve. Or if you want a breather at work and you goof off on your phone for a bit, hell I'm sure I've done that myself at times

We all seen what happened to Vincent Vega when he decided to take his time while sitting on the toilet. So no I don't read on the toilet.

To me going to the Bathroom is a race. Reading isn't practical during races.

I don't like it when people know I am on the toilet. The faster I am out the better. :cmad:

The worst is if you're in a busy public bathroom and thinks get loud. That always makes me feel weird haha

I try not to use a public toilet, that's an enemy of mine.
If I unfortunately had to use one, I try to hurry up and leave.

Home is a place to relax, home toilets are a good place to read some Archie comics and have a few laughs.

My thoughts exactly. I only read on my home throne, never in a public one.

Have any ladies voted? I would like to get the female perspective on this. Is it more of a guy thing? I asked CC to vote but she repectively declined haha

DJ no woman will ever answer this question. YOU A FOOL SON!

I definitely try to avoid public bathrooms whenever I can.

I didn't even read the link but I think it's about how if you read on the toilet, you're going to get out of the bathroom to find Bruce Willis holding an uzi.

I think it's about if you spend time reading on the toilet well after you've pooped. But if you're in the midst of pooping, then I don't see that it's going to affect you in the way it describes, because you have to do that kind of sitting action anyway.

I definitely try to avoid public bathrooms whenever I can.

They're not always avoidable. I avoid making eye contact with anyone or even having any kind of conversation even if I know someone in there. If I happen to go into a public toilet at the same time as a friend, they suddenly become a stranger to me and I will not speak to them at all. I don't know how women can go in there to chat.
