Do you talk constantly, or only when neccessary?

I'm in the area of sales, and it's well known that we have to be of an outgoing breed in our line of work. I'm one of the more low-key people in the office, and it will be assumed at times that I'm just "quiet", but I'll usually respond with, "I only talk when I got something to say, unlike people that talk just to hear themselves talk." Yeah, it's sarcastic, but I only do that to the ones that consistently talk about nothing. I'll crack jokes and make comments if need be, but if I'm just in thought or doing something, I usually shut the hell up, as that's how I am. You fancy yourself a person that needs conversation constantly, or prone to bouts of silence?

it depends, when im with my friends im talking consistantly , but when im at home or at work I only talk when told to.

im exactly like you..i work in a sales environment too..i get mine..but normally dont talk even at home and the likes

Silent. I find when you stay quiet, people are way more inclined to listen when you finally speak. The Silent Bob complex lol.

I very rarely talk. Unless I am with friends. Then you can't shut me up. But if I am on the bus or something. I usually keep to my self. mainly because I am absolutely horrible at small talk. I hate it.

When meeting new people I dont like uncomfortable silences so I just talk crap simply to make noise.

When I'm with friends, I'm too busy drinking beer, watching the game on TV, having a smoke, and play like I'm engaged in their meaningless talk.

Then they ask me something, and I respond and then shut it.

I don't talk all that much in social situations unless I'm comfrotable. You can tell if I'm comfortable socially because I start talking. In classes... shutting me up is trouble, especially stuff like Sociology where we're always discussing somthing.

I'm a big talker(surprise). Especially when I'm not in my core circle of friends b/c if I don't talk, we'll all sit there in silence.
